Restart your computer.
Temporarily turn off your antivirus, Windows Defender, Firewall, or corporate Firewall.
If you are using a proxy server or VPN, temporarily deactivate these as well.
Find the “hosts” file in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder (“hosts” is the name of the file),
- make a backup copy just in case,
- open it as Administrator – you can turn to this guide for help,
- delete the line that reads “0.0.0.0 account.zoner.com” (if it is present) and save the file.
- Download the installer file again (from here) and run the installation again.
- Check whether the following folder (or its subfolders) is open in File Explorer, and if it is open, close it:

- Restart your computer.

- Start Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and switch to its Details section.
- Find the processes named BrCtrlCntr and BrCcUxSys.
- End both of them by right-clicking on them and then using End task in the right-click menu.
- Run the Zoner Studio installer.
