How do I update the program?
If you have installed Zoner Studio using the EXE installer from our site and purchased a subscription, maintenance updates are installed on your computer automatically as they are released. Meanwhile, our spring and fall updates are only installed after you give permission.
If you have installed Zoner Studio using the MSI installer from the Zoner Account pages based on a permanent commercial license, then to update, you must use a new MSI installer from your Zoner Account.

Downloading of update failed
The Downloading of update failed error message is shown when you try to update an old version of Zoner Studio that was installed using an old EXE installer file. Take these steps to solve this problem:
- Uninstall every copy of Zoner Studio from your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Install the program using a new EXE installer file from our website.
