The Interface
The Zoner Studio environment is made up of several side panels and a working area in the middle. The Navigator panel is on the left, a panel with tools and controls is on the right, and the Filmstrip is at the bottom. Each of these panels can be hidden/shown. At the very top of the program are the top menu and buttons for the program’s modules: Manager, Develop, Editor, Print, and Video. Next to the module buttons there is an icon for launching the Viewer window.
On the left of the program’s top bar is a list of the open tabs and a plus button. Use this button to open a new tab. A new tab can also be opened by [Ctrl]-clicking any of the module buttons. On the right in the top bar, there are buttons for Notifications, Help, your Zoner Account, working with a Second Monitor, and controlling Fullscreen display.
By default, the top menu is shown under the top bar. This menu shows all the menu sections available for the current module. Clicking View | Menu switches to a more compact display: the top menu is removed, a Menu item is shown at the top left, and all the top-menu contents are offered through submenus of this item. The program’s individual modules are listed on the right below the top bar:
- The Manager module is for browsing and organizing photos. It has several display modes. One mode is active at a time. These modes are: Map, Browser, Preview, or Full View.
- The Develop module serves for non-destructive editing.
- The Editor module serves for advanced edits and work with selections.
- The Print module serves for producing creative outputs based on your photos.
- The Video module serves for editing and creating videos.
On the right next to the list of modules, there is an icon for launching the Viewer, which is useful for convenient fullscreen viewing and browsing of photos and videos.

If you need more detailed information about any part of the program, simply hover your mouse over the desired element and press F1. This will open our website, where the relevant part of the program is automatically sent as a prompt to our AI assistant Zoni, who will provide a detailed explanation and links to related help articles.
The F1 key can be used over the main parts of the program interface (such as side panels, the Map, Browser, Preview, or Full Preview modes, or any module), as well as over specific items in the top menu of each module, contextual help elements, and items in the Adjustments menu in the Editor.
