Installing Zoner Studio
To install Zoner Studio on your new computer, use the usual method. That is, run the Zoner Studio installer for your license type.
Normally you will have a subscription license. In that case, download and use the EXE installer file from our website.
If you are using a permanent commercial license, visit the Zoner account with the license, download the MSI installer file from there, and run it.

Transferring the Catalog is Not Recommended
Transferring the Catalog is not recommended. Instead, we recommend creating the Catalog in Zoner Studio on the new computer by adding the folders that you want to index and preloading them.
Transferring Projects in the Print and Video Modules
To transfer projects that you have created in the Print and Video modules, copy the contents of the following folder from the old to the new computer:
- EXE installer: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Zoner\ZPS X\CreatePresets
- MSI installer: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Zoner\ZPS 19\CreatePresets
xxx = name of your Windows user account
However, the CreatePresets folder only contains links to the files in the project (Windows shortcuts). It does not contain the files themselves. Therefore, you must also transfer all the files you included in the project.
The file links contain the exact locations of the files. If the name or path of the file on the second computer is different (for example, if the Windows user account name is different), Zoner Studio will not find the files after the transfer. When you open the project, a warning will appear that the files could not be found, and a tool will be provided to help you find the files’ new location.
